Mylar®
For many years, Mylar® has been one of the most successful products of the company DuPont™ Teijin Films. In this transparent, flexible Mylar® film, based on polyethylene terephthalate, DuPont™ Teijin Films has created the highest standards in the field of polyester films.
Due to the excellent balance of its electrical properties combined with chemical, thermal and physical properties, Mylar® A offers the electrical industry unique construction possibilities. The polyester film is characterised by excellent resistance to moisture and current solvents. It can be used in temperatures from -70 °C to 150 °C. As it does not contain any softeners, it will not become brittle after ageing under normal conditions.
These are properties that won over SYNFLEX early on. Mylar® has been exclusively used by Synflex for customer-specific assemblies for over 20 years. It's a story of success that we want to continue, together with our partners, over the next decades.
