Copper Tape

Description

Copper tape is split from cold rolled copper and wound
onto rings. The copper is annealed, pickled and
degreased

Properties

The mechanical properties of the soft copper are in
accordance with EN 13599.
Low burr edges and:
rolled starting from 0.30 mm thickness on request, or
rounded starting from 0.30 mm thickness on request

Application

The application of copper tapes provides advantages in
distribution transformers and chokes for pulse voltage
stimulated windings. Additionally, a respective design also
ensures simple production processes and enables very
high mechanical winding strengths. Furthermore, they can
be used as an earthing tape.
