They are the experts for all our production and finishing machines – i.e. cutting, feathering and coating machines as well as punch presses. They are responsible for operation and maintenance, regular inspections and retooling. They know all there is to know about our systems, and how the machines must be programmed and set up to satisfy our customers’ orders. Their quick and reliable error diagnosis and elimination skills make them invaluable members of our team.

Moreover, they are responsible for all safety aspects when working with our state-of-the-art production facilities and ensure that production is not interrupted. This means they have the entire production chain in view - from incoming goods, through the storage of finished products and their packaging to shipment – as long as it involves the use of machines. Since our production systems are extremely effective and must be operated at full capacity, machine and system operators work shifts.

We ensure that our specialists keep up to date, because further training is the only way to master new processes and meet varying requirements. We achieve this goal with the help of regular seminars about the flow of materials, electronic engineering or quality management.

Commercial Jobs

  • Warehouse logistics specialist

It’s all down to supplies – a company cannot be successful without an adequate supply of materials and spare parts. Warehouse logistics specialists are the linchpin for the movement of all goods. Without them a company can be as innovative as it likes – it will still lose track of its thousands of products...

Accordingly, the job of a warehouse logistics specialist at SYNFLEX is extremely complex: They check the type, quantity and condition of incoming goods according to the accompanying documents and sophisticated inspection methods. If there is a problem, they immediately inform the carrier. They organise unloading, plan the required space for the incoming goods with the aid of IT warehouse management systems and ensure the goods are safely stored in our 55,000 m² central warehouse. [The equivalent of 30 ice hockey rinks ...]

Our warehouse logistics specialists ensure a perfect flow of materials and minimum transit times – which help to reduce costs. They select the carrier for outgoing goods, create the accompanying documents, pick customer orders with the aid of barcode scanners, assemble the loading units and package the goods. They even plan the procedures for the actual loading of goods. They subsequently ensure that appropriate transport and loading equipment is available, handle loading procedures and process shipping documents. Moreover, they carry out quality assurance checks in the warehouse, calculate the efficiency of a warehouse application and provide invaluable help during inventory taking.

    What you get

They will also visit the vocational training college in Lemgo twice a week. The apprenticeship course commences on 1 August each year.

The sky’s the limit for our warehouse logistics specialists. Particularly motivated specialists have the opportunity to climb the career ladder: e.g. they can qualify as a "master of inventory management", a "technical facility manager" or a "logistics specialist for freight traffic". We help you achieve your goals.

    Who we look for

You have passed basic school leaving examinations (Hauptschulabschluss or Realschulabschluss), enjoy manual work and are able to think logically. • Graduate in business administration (VWA) – wholesale and foreign trade

Graduates in business administration VWA (i.e. specialists trained to the standards of the "German academies of business and administration") are legally and economically versed "all-rounders", who SYNFLEX counts on in numerous areas. They carry out highly qualified operational tasks, and quite often also managerial tasks, and embrace activities of a commercial nature at various company levels:

Their organisation and data processing work includes improving the company structure and optimising IT applications in order to automate workflows and to react to internal and external influences. This includes, in particular, the development of workflow and IT organisation plans based on organisation analyses and the introduction of new organisation structures and procedures in cooperation with colleagues from other divisions.

In the investment and financing sector, they create decision-making aids (e.g. feasibility studies, statistics) for the company management and prepare financing plans.

In the accounts department, they produce financial statements as well as profit and loss statements according to commercial and tax-based guidelines, ensure the provision of control information and check the formal and material correctness of accounting records. In these situations, they regularly work with external accountants and auditors.

In the HR department, they apply a qualitative and quantitative approach to managing the company’s workforce. This results, e.g., in tasks involving HR planning, administration and law as well as the basic and advanced training of employees.

In the sales and marketing sector, they execute planning and organisational tasks, e.g., advertising and sales campaigns. This means they cooperate with advertising agencies and provide essential advice to customers. As part of our market research, they analyse markets and provide forecasts for future developments. Besides carrying out organisational and planning tasks, today’s graduates in business administration (VWA) are also involved in every area of field work (visiting customers, advising customers, preparing quotes, negotiating sales).

If they are employed in management environment, they usually carry out monitoring, coordinating and organisational tasks to relieve the burden on the company’s management. This involves clarifying factual data and developing a basis for decision making and decision-making aids. Including, e.g., evaluating statistics, creating profitability analyses or preparing contracts and offers.

Revision courses and workshops are also available. During this phase, the students spend three to four days a week at SYNFLEX. They work for four to six months in three or four departments as a managerial assistant and are entrusted with special tasks.
