SynFlex and SHWire present their comprehensive alternative product range for electrical insulation systems for electric motors, generators and transformers on more than 120 square meters at Germany's leading trade fair for coil & winding materials - the Coiltech in Augsburg on 20 and 21 March 2024.

Under the guiding principle „Smart Alternatives - Make your choice“ SynFlex present competitive and cost-efficient product alternatives in the field of SynTherm^® insulating materials including their further processing into die-cut parts as well as the latest range of SynSleeve flexible sleevings. “Cost-efficient alternative materials of equivalent quality are the topic with which our customers approach us. Trade fair highlight: Innovation SHXLife

SHWire will present their latest innovation to their customers for the first time at the Coiltech: the high-performance enamelled copper wire for 800V+ e-mobility solutions. SHXLife withstands partial discharges that frequently occur in this voltage environment, more than 500 times longer than conventional wires. “SHXLife literally gives designers wings: thanks to the durability of SHXLife, partial discharges in 800V+ applications no longer have to be categorically ruled out. As a result, SHXLife gives our customers the flexibility to reduce layer thicknesses and increase the copper fill factor, which is important for efficiency. Our solution is also commercially interesting as it is based on established insulation systems“, recaps Dr. Andreas Levermann, Managing Director at SHWire, the advantages of the new and unique wire on the market. This makes SHXLife the new alternative for conductive materials for electric motors in the 800V+ environment.
