Donation for the "Kinderreich im Paradies" day care centre

What to do when the outdoor area of a children's centre is barely usable after decades of use and a devastating heavy rainfall? The "Kinderreich im Paradies" after-school care centre run by the German Child Protection Association (Deutscher Kinderschutzbund e.V.) in Blomberg is facing precisely this challenge. We have therefore handed over a donation of 2,500 euros - sending a clear signal in favour of the importance of social facilities in the region.

One of the last of its kind
The "Kinderreich im Paradies" day care centre is one of the few remaining day care centres in the region. It currently looks after around 50 children and young people aged between 6 and 14. The facility sees itself not only as a homework centre, but also as a socio-educational facility that complements the family and has an independent educational mission.

Heavy rainfall and dilapidated facilities require action
The outdoor area of the centre in particular is to be turned back into a real play and adventure area for children. A new exercise trail, climbing elements, retreat areas and a new water mud facility are planned. The previous facilities are no longer usable after decades of use and the consequences of heavy rainfall events.

Customer feedback turns into concrete support
The donation amount was raised as part of the annual customer survey. SynFlex donated 5 euros to a good cause for every response submitted. "Facilities like the 'Kinderreich im Paradies' are far more than just childcare centres," explains Hubertus Hasse, Managing Partner of SynFlex Elektro GmbH. "Especially today, children need places where they can experience community, safety and genuine attention. We are therefore all the more pleased to be able to contribute to the creation of an outdoor area that is fun for children and invites them to play, move and discover."

Brit Holst, head of the day nursery, also emphasises the importance of such support: "Without donations, we would not be able to redesign the outdoor area in a child-friendly and long-lasting way. We are therefore incredibly grateful for any support."

SynFlex would also like to use this support to raise awareness of the project and motivate other people and companies to help.
