SynTape® – Electrical Adhesive Tapes 3M™ no. 79
3M™ electro-insulating tape No. 79 is a UL-approved fibre glass adhesive tape with acrylate adhesive.
High tear and temperature resistant fabric tape with good varnish and resin resistance. Very easy to form!
Application
As electrical insulation of coils and transformers, as final insulation and as coil ends of stators. It is used if high mechanical strength, stress relief and thermal resistance are required.

Storage
Adhesive tapes should always be stored in a cool, dry place at approx. 20 °C and 50 - 60 % relative humidity. The storage period should not exceed 6 months.
