Nomex® electrical paper of DuPont is based on the extremely heat-resistant material meta-aramid, which is particularly well known for its use in protective clothing. The outstanding properties of this material also make it extremely attractive for the electrical industry. Excellent insulating properties of Nomex® electrical insulating papers
Nomex® electrical insulating papers in our range belong to insulating class H (180 °C). They are extremely heat-resistant and flame-retardant in accordance with UL 94V-0. Its high resistance to chemicals makes the meta-aramid compatible with all classes of standard resins, varnishes, adhesives, transformer fluids, lubricating oils and coolants. This means you can use the electrical insulating paper in a large number of applications.

As a leading provider of electrical insulation solutions, we offer you comprehensive processing options for your Nomex® electrical insulating paper.
Nomex® electrical insulating paper is available on roll as standard or as customized cut. Also available are Nomex® adhesive tapes in various versions.
To improve the properties of the insulating papers, we have specialized in the production of laminates. Combine the Nomex® products with another insulating material and thus combine the positive properties. We already have standard material combinations available on the market. Do you need a customized combination? Contact our product manager and plan your customized insulation material with him.
We also offer you the option of processing the material into customized punched or bent parts. The experts from our plant in Schramberg are available to help you plan your product - from the initial idea to the finished stamped part.

We offer smart and cost-effective alternatives to the existing Nomex® products. Our electrical insulating papers SynTherm® YT510 and SynTherm® YT56 made of meta-aramid also have excellent thermal and mechanical properties and at the same time have significantly better oil absorption than the branded product.
Additionally, SynTherm® YT510 and SynTherm® YT56 have individual and also system approvals by UL, just like Nomex® 410 and Nomex® E56. Our SynLab® test laboratory and our UL experts are at your disposal for consultation on the topic of tests and approvals.
